- Jong Bin An (Ph. D. candidate) from the research team of Prof. Hyun Jae Kim won the KIDS Awards Silver (Sponsored by LG Display) at the 23rd International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2023) for the best oral presentation. Jong Bin An presented a study titled " Enhancement of Near-Infrared Detection in IGZO-based Phototransistor via NaYF4:Yb/Tm Core Upconversion Nanoparticles" which is expected to greatly contribute to leading near infrared sensor technology based on oxide semiconductor.

- Prof. Dong Ku Kim’s lab. Lens-MIMO for V2X network has been accepted in IEEE TWC and JSAC
- Prof. Kim’s Mobile communications Lab. analyzed and designed the lens antenna array systems for positioning use cases, demanding high positioning precision while operating within the constraints of limited RF hardware in 5G vehicle-to-everything communication. The results would be appeared in IEEE Trans. Wirel. Commun. (IF=10.4, JCR rank=5.6%) and IEEE J. Sel. Areas Commun. (IF=16.4, JCR rank=1.3%). This study was led by Joo-Hyun Jo (first authors) under the supervision of Prof. Dong Ku Kim. Prof. Chan-Byoung Chae (School of Integrated Technology).

- Doctor Sangryul Jeon is employed as Assistant Professor in Pusan University
- Doctor Sangryul Jeon is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Pusan National University, starting from September 2023. After receiving his Ph.D. degree from Yonsei University in the Digital Image Media Lab (Prof. Sohn’s Team) in 2022, he conducted active research in Computer Vision as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan.

- Prof. Ahn’s team: "Research on Direct Synthesis of MoS2 on Flexible Substrates’” Published in the Nature Nanotechnology
- Yonsei University's Jong-Hyun Ahn’s research team (1st author Beom Jin Kim) developed a low-temperature growth technology that reduces the synthesis temperature of the 2D semiconductor material, Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2), to 150℃. While low-temperature growth technology is considered one of the key technologies for the industrial application of MoS2, there have been very few successful cases reported in academia due to its technical challenges. Based on this technology, the team demonstrated that high-performance MoS2 can be grown on ultra-thin glass and flexible substrates like plastic." for the first time in the world through the "Nature Nanotechnology" journal (IF 40.52)
