제목: Early Science Results from the CO Mapping Array Project (COMAP)연사: Dr. Junhan Kim (Millikan Postdoctoral Scholar, California Institute of Technology)일자: 2022-10-07, 10:30 AM-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------AbstractThe CO Mapping Array Project (COMAP) is a carbon monoxide (CO) line intensity mapping experiment that uses a 10.4 m dish located at the Owens Valley Radio Observatory (OVRO) with a 19-pixel spectroscopic receiver array. The COMAP Pathfinder program is underway and aims to constrain the global properties of galaxies between z = 2.4 and 3.4. Recently, the COMAP collaboration presented early science results from the first year observations with the pathfinder experiment. I will review these results in the talk and introduce an instrumentation effort designed to mitigate the systematic effect of atmospheric fluctuations on the data. Finally, I will discuss the prospects for future phases of the experiment.* Talk to be delivered in English
