YJIS at a Glance
The Yonsei Journal of International Studies (YJIS) is a triannual, peer-reviewed publication of the Graduate School of International Studies at Yonsei University. Distinguished as the first English-language scholarly journal in Korea, YJIS provides a unique platform for emerging scholars while maintaining rigorous academic standards through faculty editorial stewardship.
The journal welcomes submissions across the broad spectrum of international studies, particularly encouraging contributions from graduate students and early-career academics. All submissions undergo blind peer review and are evaluated on originality, argumentation, and scholarly rigor.
Current and incoming GSIS students interested in editorial positions, which include scholarship support, should monitor departmental announcements at the beginning of each semester.
Faculty Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Park Jae Jeok
Student Editor-in-Chief: Ahlim Lee
