재난관리 Disaster Management

The goal of the course is to provide an overview of fundamental conceptual frameworks for disaster management.

This general goal will be pursued through three themes:

a) comparing emergencies, disasters, and catastrophes as qualitatively distinct events;

b) tracking historical changes in how disasters have been managed; and

c) examining the four phases of the disaster cycle (preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery).   

본 과목의 목표는 재난관리의 기본적인 개념과 이론을 고찰하는 것이다.
다양한 재난에 대한 이해와 비교, 재난관리의 역사 및 변화, 그리고 완화, 대비, 대응, 복구단계로 이루어지는 재난관리의 전반적인 내용을 다룬다.
