- Prof. Yongshik Lee’s group develops and experimentally verifies multi-frequency electromagnetic metamaterial cloak for e
- Prof. Yongshik Lee’s group demonstrated, for the first time, a metamaterial technology that cloaks electrically large objects electromagnetically, by designing an inhomogeneous isotropic refractive index that collimates the scattered wave into the forward direction rather than bending the wave around the object. By applying the intrinsic harmonics selection condition of metamaterials, multi-frequency operation is also possible without complex active controls. Experimental verification of such a cloak succeeded in increasing the practicality of the electromagnetic cloak technology based on metamaterials. This research was conducted in collaboration with Prof. C. W. Qiu of National Singapore University (NUS), and the results will be published in the Physical Review Applied(IF 4.782) of American Physical Society.

- Prof. Hyun Jae Kim’s Research Team Published a Paper on ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (IF = 8.0)
- Prof. Hyun Jae Kim’s research team reported p-type oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) by hypochlorous acid on Journal of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. In this study, solution based p-type oxide TFTs with superior electrical characteristics were achieved by controlling vacancies in oxide channel layer through the reaction with oxygen radicals. Thus, it is expected to be applied to next generation display using the p-type oxide semiconductors. This research was guided by Prof. Hyun Jae Kim (corresponding author) and led by graduate student Tae Soo Jung (first author).
