싱가폴 A*STAR(Agency of Science, Technology and Research) 산하 SIFBI(Singapole Institute for Food Biotechnology Innovation)과 FoodTech 분야 연구 협력 관련 현지 미팅을 최근 진행했는데,학부 및 학위 과정 중심으로 싱가폴의 지원 프로그램을 소개 받아서 올려드립니다.

싱가폴은 FoodTech 분야에서도 특히 Alternative Meat (대체육, 배양육) 분야에서,

식품 법규의 규제를 완화하여 산업화를 처음 시작하기 좋은 환경을 구축하여 많은 기술 기업들이 모이고 있습니다.

1. Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA)

Eligibility Criteria

• - Open to international 3rd and 4th year bachelor’s and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses
• - Obtained/on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for bachelor’s degree
• - Students must remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period
• - Proficient in written and spoken English
• - Strong interest in a research career

2. Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

Eligibility Criteria

- Open to international students with an intention to do a PhD studies in Singapore

• - Obtained at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for bachelor’s degree
• - Proficient in written and spoken English
• - Strong interest in a research career
