Targeting Sophomore to Senior Undergraduate International Students at Sinchon Campus

Targeting Sophomore to Senior Junior Undergraduate International Students at Sinchon Campus, 

Yonsei University held a Welcome Party for those who are studying for the first time on Sinchon Campus.

The event was held face-to-face on September 20, 2023 at the Global Lounge and JakeLah Hall, The Commons. 

Hosted and organized by the Global One-Stop Service Center(GOSC) under the University 

Innovation Support Project(대학혁신지원사업) to support the successful settlement of global talents.

• About 60 undergraduate students from all over the world attended the event, and the program was conducted in English and Chinese.

• In the first half of the event, they were introduced to the Global-One-Stop Service Center which was established in September 2022 and were also provided with information such as immigration, library services, crime prevention education as well as GOSC Student Supporters and Foreign Student 
• Associations (FSU, China, Vietnam, Mongolia). In the second part, students enjoyed finger food and mingled with others.

International students who attended the event said, "This is the first event I participated in since the beginning of the semester, 

and it was a good time for international students to get various information needed for college life and to interact with students of various nationalities."
