Academic award from the Korean Medical 3D Printing Society

Hee Min Lee, a researcher in the research team of Prof. Joon Sang Lee, received an academic award for his outstanding research on the topic of 'Physics-added neural networks (PANNs): A novel method to embed physics in image-to-image translation for inkjet printing' at the Korean Medical 3D Printing Society held on December 1, 2023. The study showed that a physics-based AI model can be used to quickly and accurately predict inkjet printing. This technology enables process optimization of bio-inks with various physical properties and is expected to contribute to the development of bio 3D printing in the future.
