Allocation of supervising professors.
- New students in master's, master's and doctorate integrated courses, and doctoral courses must determine their supervisors within the period set by the department upon admission.
- Each freshman shall determine an advisor through individual contact and interview with the professor, obtain approval from the supervisor in a prescribed form of the department, and submit it to the principal professor for final approval.

All graduate students must obtain oral approval from the supervisor for the course registration.

A master's student shall acquire 30 credits necessary for obtaining a degree with the approval of an advisor.

Students in the integrated master's and doctorate courses must acquire 54 credits necessary for obtaining a degree with the approval of the supervisor. However, if only a master's degree is obtained, the standard of the master's degree course is applied.

Ph.D. students shall acquire 60 credits necessary for obtaining a degree with the approval of the supervisor. This 60 credits can include up to 30 credits out of the credits completed in the master's degree course.

The completion of supplementary courses for students enrolled in other majors shall be determined by the principal professor in consultation with the supervisor.

In the case of master's or doctoral students, seminar subjects can take up to two courses.

In the case of integrated course students, seminar courses can be taken up to three courses.

The average of the total floor space required for completion of the degree course must be 3.0 or higher.

Students in the master's doctoral program must pass the comprehensive examination conducted by the department before the preliminary examination of the thesis. In the case of the master's and doctoral integration course, the provisions of the doctoral course are followed without going through the master's course comprehensive examination.

In the case of a master's course, you must take the first comprehensive exam within the end of the second semester. The composition and scoring standards of the comprehensive test shall be governed by separate regulations.

In the case of Ph.D. programs, Ph.D. students with master's degrees must take the first comprehensive examination within the end of the third semester and the integrated master's and doctorate's students within the end of the fifth semester. The composition and scoring standards of the comprehensive test shall be governed by separate regulations.

The comprehensive exam is organized by the department and is held once a semester in consideration of the academic schedule. If you fail more than three times during the degree course, you will not be able to undergo a preliminary review of your thesis, so you will be expelled from the degree course.

Students who have passed the comprehensive examination and have been approved for a degree thesis research plan are eligible for a preliminary review of the degree thesis. In the case of master's students, preliminary examination of thesis can be obtained during the semester when the thesis research plan is approved. In the case of Ph.D. students, preliminary examination of thesis research plans can be received at least one semester after the approved semester.

The preliminary examination is made verbally on the student's thesis, and the preliminary examination committee decides whether to pass.

The preliminary review committee consists of three masters' thesis and five Ph.D. thesis in consultation with the chief professor and the supervisor. Up to one of the master's degree judges and two of the doctoral degree judges can be appointed as outsiders.

The oral presentation of the preliminary examination is publicly conducted and the schedule for the examination of the presentation must be announced in advance.

The preliminary examination may be conducted in the semester or previous semester in which the student aims to graduate.

- As a student who has passed the preliminary examination and faithfully revised and supplemented the thesis, students who meet the requirements for graduation from academic activities are eligible for the main examination of the thesis.
- This review consists of oral presentations on the student's thesis.
- This review committee shall have three members for master's thesis and five for doctoral thesis, and the thesis advisor shall automatically become judges. Up to one of the master's degree judges and two of the doctoral degree judges can be appointed as outsiders.
- This review evaluation is out of 100 points, and if two or more judges evaluate it as 80 points or higher, it is considered acceptable. If four or more judges evaluate it as 80 points or higher, it is considered acceptable.
- Those who have failed this examination may rewrite and undergo examination after more than one semester has elapsed. If you fail the re-examination, you will no longer be able to receive a thesis review and must complete the degree course as a graduate.

In the case of a master's degree, it is required to pass the main examination of the thesis within 8 semesters and a doctorate within 14 semesters.

Requirements for graduation from academic activities.

Master's degree, master's and doctorate integrated courses, and doctoral students must engage in academic activities through domestic and international journals and academic conferences recognized by graduate schools as graduation requirements.

In order to submit a master's degree and a doctorate thesis, it is necessary to meet the academic activity requirements set by the department.
