The Inauguration of Asia Society Policy Institute's Center for China Analysis Anchored in the Asia Society Policy Institute, the Center for China Analysis aims to be a global leader for policy-relevant, objective analysis of China’s politics, economy, and society, and its foreign and security policy impact on Asia and the world.

• 3:30 to 4:10 pm: Decoding the Politics and Economics of the 20th Party Congress. Remarks, discussion, and demonstration of the website on “Decoding the 20th Party Congress” by Center for China Analysis experts Kevin Rudd, Chris Johnson, Wu Guoguang, and Ma Guonan, moderated by Susan Jakes, Editor, ChinaFile.
• 4:15 to 4:55 pm: Building “Guardrails” in the US-China Strategic Relationship after the 20th Congress and in the Lead-Up to the Biden-Xi Summit. Remarks and discussion by Center for China Analysis experts Rorry Daniels, Lyle Morris, Evan Medeiros and Andrew Chubb, moderated by Bates Gill.
• 5:00-5:40 pm: Exploring Prospects for Cooperation: Climate Change and Global Public Health. Remarks and discussion by Center for China Analysis experts Kate Logan, Kevin Rudd, and Bob Li, and joined by Dr Selwyn Vickers, CEO, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, moderated by Russell Flannery, Senior Editor, Forbes.
• 5:45 to 6:00 pm: Concluding remarks by Dr. Rudd with introduction of “next generation” Center for China Analysis fellows and junior fellows.

6:00-7:00 pm: A Celebratory Reception in Garden Court.
