1. Credits Required for Graduation
- Minimum number of credits required for Master’s degree graduation: 30 credits
- Minimum number of credits required for Doctoral degree graduation: 30 credits
- Minimum number of credits required for a Joint (Masters + Doctoral) degree graduation: 54 credits (however, for those who discontinue in the middle of the joint program, they will be subject to the minimum credits for a Master’s Degree)
2. Credit Hours Per Semester
- Graduate students may register for a maximum of 12 credits per semester.
- Students must register for a minimum of one course per semester.
3. Academic Evaluation
The grades and grade points for academic performance evaluation are as follows.

4. Acceptance of Earned Credits
- The student must have an attendance rate of at least 2/3 of the class hours for each enrolled course.
- An academic letter grade of C-(1.7) or higher is required for the credits to be counted toward graduation.
- The overall grade required for the completion of each degree program is a minimum of B0(3.0).
5. Academic Warning
If the overall GPA prior to course retake is below 2.00, the student will receive an academic warning. If a student receives a total of two academic warnings, they will be expelled due to poor academic performance. If a student who is expelled for poor academic performance later re-enrolls, receiving one academic warning during the period of attendance at school will result in expulsion due to poor academic performance.
6. Course Retake
- You may retake the course once with the same course code.
- If you retake a course with the same course code, only the best grade will be recorded on the final transcript.
7. Completion of Undergraduate Supplementary Courses
The completion of supplementary courses for students from other majors is determined autonomously according to department regulations. However, the credits for supplementary courses should not exceed 12 credits. The credits for supplementary courses are not included in the credits required for graduation.
