GSIS Student Association (GSA)
GSIS Student Association is an independent, student-organized, and student-run organization. The purpose of the GSA is to represent and give voice to all the GSIS students on campus, aiming for more effective participation of the students in all aspects of student life. The GSA is based on the principle that GSIS students should be informed about, and take part in, all decisions which affect them. To accomplish these goals, the GSA helps keep graduate students informed of what is happening at Yonsei GSIS, while serving as a forum in which the issues which affect students can be discussed. When key issues and areas for improvement are identified, the GSA serves as a representative and advocator for the point of view of the graduate students to the administration, faculty, and other segments of the university community.
The GSA) is a dedicated team committed to enhancing the student experience at Yonsei GSIS. Led by 4 executive officers, and supported by managers and committee members across five committees: Merch, Academic, MT/Gala, Social, and Inter-GSIS, together, we aim to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for all GSIS students. We bring a diverse range of experiences to the table, from organizing key events like MT and the Campus Tour to managing academic resources and fostering inter-GSIS connections. Whether it is supporting incoming students, planning meaningful events, or ensuring transparency in our operations, the GSA is here to make GSIS not just a place to study, but a community where everyone feels they belong.
