& TCC(Tutor Created Contents) Tutoring 안내

글로벌기초교육학부(GBED)에서는

아래와 같이 글로벌 튜터링에 참여할 튜티를 모집하오니,

참가를 희망하는 학생은 세부사항을 확인한 후 신청서를 이메일로 제출하여 주시기 바랍니다.

이번 학기 튜터링은 ZOOM을 이용한 비대면 온라인 방식으로 진행되며,

수강변경기간 종료 후 최종 확정된 수강신청 결과를 토대로 매칭될 예정입니다.

아울러 교수학습혁신센터에서 YSCEC에 개설중인 TCC 튜터링 과목을 안내해 드리오니 여러분의 많은 시청 바랍니다.

1. 모집 대상

   소속 전공기초 및 GLC 교과목 또는 기초한국어 학습에 도움을 받고자 하는 GBED 학생

     * 1인당 최대 2개 팀 신청 및 활동 가능

2. 절차: [참가희망자] → 신청 → 매칭 후 최종 선정 팀 발표

[선정 팀] → 학기 중 교수학습혁신센터(ICTL)의 운영 절차에 따라 튜터링 진행

      * 과목 매칭이 이뤄지지 않을 경우 선발되지 않을 수 있음.

3. 신청방법: 첨부 파일(신청서) 작성 후 glcedu@yonsei.ac.kr 로 제출

※ 메일 제목을 반드시 “2020-2학기 GBED 글로벌 튜터링(Tutee) 신청”으로 표기 바랍니다.

4. 신청 기간: 2020. 8. 24(월). ~ 9. 7(월). 오후 5:00까지, 신청기간 종료 후 신청 불가

5. 매칭 결과 발표: 2020. 9. 10(목) 오후 5시(이메일로 개별 공지 예정)

6. 활동방법

  가. 팀(튜터-튜티) 단위로 해당 교과목 또는 기초한국어 튜터링 활동

  나. 방식 : ZOOM을 이용한 온라인 화상 튜터링

  다. 한 학기 필수 활동시간: 15시간 (주당 평균 1시간) 이상

  라. 필수 항목:

 ※ 주의 : 위 항목은 필수 활동시간에 포함되지 않습니다. 

7. 특전: 교수학습혁신센터(ICTL)에서 튜터링 활동 확인서 발급

(발급조건: 필수 활동 시간 및 필수 항목 충족)

  센터에서 발급 확인 문자 또는 이메일 발송 → 이후 지정된 기간에 확인서 수령

8. 유의사항

    가. 튜터링 시작 이후 중도 포기 불가하므로 신중하게 신청할 것

    나. OT 이후 활동을 중단하는 경우 이메일(glcedu@yonsei.ac.kr)로 취소 사유서 제출

9. 참고사항 : 튜티는 OT, 기말 발표에 반드시 참석해야 합니다. 만약 참석하지 않을 경우 활동에는 문제없으나 튜터링 활동 확인서는 발급받을 수 없습니다.

※ TCC(Tutor Created Contents) Tutoring

1. 참가 방법: YSCEC(http;//yscec.yonsei.ac.kr) 접속(로그인)

→ 왼쪽 메뉴 중 <전체 강의 목록> 선택

→ 왼쪽 상단에서 <비정규과정> 선택

→ “강의명” 입력란에 “TCC(대문자)”를 치면 총 16개의 튜터링 과목이 보임

→ 희망과목 수강신청 후 강의실 입장(신청 후 하루가 지나야 시청가능)

2. 개설 과목: 경제학입문, 통계학입문, 경제수학, 거시경제학, 미시경제학, 수리통계학, 화폐금융론, 회계원리(1), 금융공학의 이해(1),(2), 재무관리, 기초수학(영어), 유기화학(2), 자료구조, 공학수학(1),(2), 컴퓨터자료처리

2020 Fall semester, GBED Global Tutoring Program (Online)

Participant (Tutee) Recruitment and TCC(Tutor Created Contents) Tutoring Notice

Global Basic Education Division is recruiting the Tutee students who wish to participate in the Global tutoring program as follow. For students who wish to participate in the program, please read the detail instructions and submit the application form through email.

Tutoring Program in this semester will be held ONLINE/non-face-to-face through ZOOM program. The tutor and tutee will be matched based on their final Course Enrollment after the Add & Drop period.

Kindly request your attention and active participation since the center for teaching and learning innovation will also be guiding the TCC tutoring courses through YSCEC.

※ What is Global Tutoring? 

The Global Tutoring program is student-centered learning program that aims at helping (Tutee) GBED students who need help with the college classes and university lives by pairing with (Tutor) Korean students who have prerequisite knowledge in a specific subject or can help tutee’s college life. 

※ Tutor and tutee will be comprised of the corresponding major, but it might be matched with a different major tutor based on the number of the applicants.

※ What is TCC Tutoring? 

1. A platform in which students can watch videos made by tutors WITHOUT FEE throun YSCEC. Also, the provided videos will be available throughout the year including the vacation period, thus, it will be able to watch at any time.

(You can apply and watch the desired course starting from the day after course enrollment)

2. Application for multiple subjects is valid and continuously taken throughout the next semester is also valid when once applied.

3. The tutor for TCC tutoring will be the students who are chosen as the best tutors in offline tutoring.

4. TCC tutoring is an irregular(special) course(s), hence, it is irrelevant with receiving credits as well as activity certifications.

1. Eligibility 

GBED students who seek help for the basic courses in their majors, GLC courses, and the fundamental Korean course.

※ Tutee may participate in 2 team at maximum

2. Application Procedure: 

[participation applicants] → apply → After matching Final selection team announcement       

[Selection Team] → During the semester, tutoring is conducted according to the operating procedures of the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ICTL)

     * Applicants may not be selected if the course applied by the tutor and tutee does not match.

3. Application Process 

Fill in the application form from the attached file and submit it to glcedu@yonsei.ac.kr

※ Subject of the Mail must be

“2020-2 Semester Global Tutoring (Tutee) Application”

4. Application Period: 2020. 8. 24(Mon). ~ 9. 7(Mon). till 5:00pm 

(Submission after the deadline will not be accepted)

5. Announcement on matching result: 2020. 9. 10(Thu) 5 pm

(Results to be announced individually by email)

6. Tutoring Process 

• 1) Team in a unit of (Tutor-Tutee) for a assigned subject or the fundamental Korean classes.
• 2) Method: Online Tutoring through ZOOM
• 3) Minimum tutoring hours required per semester: 15 hours or more (one hour per week on average)
• 4) Required activities:

※ The above items are not included in the required activity time

7. Tutee Benefit: 

Confirmation document of tutoring from Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning (ICTL)

(Qualification for issue: To whom fulfill the requirements such as activity hours and other items etc.)

Receive in person at the center → receive in person at the center during the specified time period after a message about issue confirmation is sent.

8. Notice

1) You may not withdraw once you are registered for the tutoring program, Please apply after careful consideration.

2) If you withdraw the tutoring program after the orientation, please send email with attached file of “Explanatory Statement” for withdrawal to the GLC Administration Office(glcedu@yonsei.ac.kr)

9. Important Notes 

Tutee must participate in orientation and final presentation. If tutee do not participate in these activities, even though the tutoring session would proceed nonetheless, but the certificate of tutoring will not be issued.

※ TCC (Tutor Created Contents) Tutoring 

1. Application method: log in to YSCEC (http;//yscec.yonsei.ac.kr)

→ From the menu on the left, choose <Course List>

→ Choose <Irregular Courses> from the upper left choice

→ In “Enter Keywords”, type “TCC” and 16 tutoring courses will be shown

→ Enroll in a class that you want, and enter the lecture room

Introduction to Economics, Introduction to statistics, Economic Mathematics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Mathematical Statistics, Money, Principles of Accounting (1), Introduction to Financial Engineering (1) and (2), Financial Management, Fundamental Mathematics for International Students, Organic Chemistry (2), Engineering Mathematics (1) and (2), Computer Programming
