2019-2  GBED Need-Based Scholarship

1. Eligibility

A. Students who are currently attending 1st or 2nd semester of Global Basic Education Division, who have no plans to take a leave of absence or graduate in 2020-1

B. Interview with academic advisor is required

C. Completion of 12 or more credits excluding P/NP in the previous semester

D. GPA 2.5/4.3 or above from the previous semester

※ GPA and credits are only requirements for the application. Please note that even you meet the above conditions, you will not necessarily receive a scholarship.

2. Application Procedure

• 
  
•    A. Interview with academic advisor (Venue: Room No. 513, Libertas Hall A at International Campus)

1)  The interview must be executed prior to the submission of documents.

2)   It is recommended to prepare the documents as much as possible prior to the interview and bring them with you at the interview.

3)   Duration: 11/4/2019 (Mon.) – 11/22/2019 (Fri.)

•    B. Submission of documents

1)  Period: 11/4/2019 (Mon.) – 11/29/2019 (Fri.)

      ※ Applications will not be accepted after the application period, so please make sure to observe the deadline.

2)  Venue: Visit GLC administration team office of Sinchon or International Campus and submit the documents.

         - International Campus : Room No. 501, Libertas Hall A

         - Sinchon Campus : Room No. 205, New Millennium Hall

3)  Documents to be submitted

•               a. Application form (to be submitted in the order of attached files)
•               b. Evidential documents for household economy difficulty (income tax payment certificate issued by the relevant                      national tax authority)

•    C. Result announcement: To be notified via personal email registered in the academic portal after 1/31/2020 (Mon.)

•    D. Number of recipients : to be determined during the screening process

•    E. Scholarship amount : The amount of the scholarship is determined within the actual tuition payment amount.

3. Precautions

•    A. Refer to the attached file of required documents, such as application.
• 
  
•    B. If the interview with academic advisor has not been carried out, your application will not be considered even if you             submit it.
• 
  
•    C. When submitting documents written in a language other than Korean or English, the original should be submitted                along with the translated version with your signature on it.
• 
  
•    D. Scholarship may be canceled or returned if the contents of the application or documents are found to be false.
