As its education programs, the School offers the Master of Social Welfare (MSW) Program, the Ph.D Program, the Joint Doctoral Program, the Combined Master's and Doctoral program, and the Research Program. All of the programs are designed to develop the most up-to-date knowledge of social welfare through practical research and field education.
Master of Social Welfare (MSW) Program
This program is designed to provide students with basic knowledge in the field of social welfare and to enhance their capabilities to perform the leading roles in the field of social welfare.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Program
The main objective of the program is to provide students with sufficient knowledge in the field of social welfare and enable them to conduct independent academic research, as well as provide instructions to those who intend to build on their knowledge and skills.

Joint Doctoral Program : Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Social Welfare Policy
The objective of the program is to create a synergy effect by integrating and developing the research achievements in the field of social welfare, and to produce first-rate professionals with a deep understanding and theoretical knowledge of social welfare policies. The Department of Social Welfare and the Department of Sociology will take part in this program, with participating professors from the Departments of Economics, Political Science, and Public Administration.

Combined Master's and Doctoral Program
This program allows students who were admitted to the master's program to earn a doctor's degree at graduation. Not both degrees but only the doctor's degree will be granted. The students are required to the doctoral dissertation only.
