Application Procedures

*The Early Bird Promotion applies to those who (1)complete the online application(with valid documents) and pay the application fee before the Early Bird Application deadline, (2)receive an acceptance letter and (3) pay the tuition fee before the Early Bird Tuition Deadline.

Eligibility

Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) welcomes applications from students currently studying in or accepted to a university/college outside of Korea. To be eligible, university/college students should have a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Graduate students are also eligible to apply to our program.

Application Materials

※Please prepare all required materials in advance, as the issuance of official documents may take additional time depending on the institution.※

1. Official Transcript (issued within 3 months)

    - High school seniors: official Letter of Admission to a college/university
    - College/university 1st years (without official grade): official Certificate of Enrollment(CoE)
    - Current college/university students: official transcript

2. Copy of Passport

    - Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the program end date.
    - If your passport is being renewed, please upload a copy of your previous passport

3. Profile Picture

    - You must upload a profile picture for the issuance of your student ID card.

※ Official transcript and Certificate of Enrollment should be officially issued within 3 months with the official institution mark and registrar/admission office’s signature.

※ Unqualified materials such as unofficial transcripts, provisional copies, improper documents will not be accepted. Submission of unqualified materials may cause delay in application review, which may lead to rejection or even to admission denial. It is the students' responsibility to submit valid documents within the deadline.

※ To facilitate the admission process and verify students’ enrollment status, further materials such as certificate of enrollment can be requested.

※ Please note that meeting the minimum GPA requirement does not guarantee admission, as all applications are reviewed by a thorough and comprehensive review process.
