Important Notice
  1. As part of our commitment to providing Dr. Kim-Suk Hi and Do-Sim Scholarship on a financial need basis, we require applicants to submit their parents' income tax statements. These documents serve as vital information in assessing financial needs and ensuring fair distribution of scholarships. Please ensure that the income tax statement submitted is up-to-date and accurately reflects your family's financial status from the previous year. This information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for scholarship evaluation.
  2. Income tax outside of Korea can be provided using the IRS Form-1040 or its variants, filed for the most recent tax year. Applicants won't need to submit the actual IRS Form-1040 itself. We prefer the tax return transcript provided by the IRS. This document summarizes your parents' tax return information including adjusted gross income (AGI), taxable income, and total taxes paid. You can request the tax return transcript directly from the IRS. It is essential for ensuring fair evaluation and distribution of scholarships.
