We would like to inform you of the matters to be aware of when applying Songdo Dormitory

due to COVID-19.

* You must agree to the Attachment's ‘Compliance Pledge for Prevention Rules of COVID-19’. 첨부

* COVID-19 test results must be submitted.(For students residing in Korea only)

- Results of test conducted within 5 days(excluding weekends and holidays) of the check-in date

- Search 'Selection Care Center' on http://ncov.mohw.go.kr and check local 'Selection Care Center'. (Please check in advance as test fee differs for each ‘Selection Care Center’, and test may not be possible.)

- Expenses are refunded at actual cost(up to 120,000 won)

* Be sure to apply during the designated period.

* Matters related to joining Songdo Dormitory may change depending on changes in the COVID-19 situation.

1. Main Schedule
  A. Housing Application : 2020. 7. 29.(Wed) 10:00 ~ 8. 2.(Sun) 23:59 (KST)
  B. House / Room Assignments : 2020. 8. 17.(Mon) 17:00 (All GIT students will reside in Dorm F)
  C. Move-in Date (for overseas arrivals)
    *** Overseas arrivals must arrive in Korea from Aug 9th (Sun) 09:00 to Aug 11th (Tue) 18:00 and be quarantined in Dorm C in a single room without going outside for two weeks; lunch boxes and bottled water will be served daily which cost separately.
    - Those who are already staying in Korea but want to move in the campus dormitory are recommended to check in from Aug 28th (Fri) 09:00 to Aug 31st (Mon) 18:00.
  D. Residing Period for 2020 Fall semester :  ~ 12. 22.(Tue) 12:00(Noon)
  E. Announcement of Housing Fees & Payment Period : 2020. 8. 25.(Tue) 13:00 ~ 8. 31.(Mon) 23:59
  F. Required documents which should be shown or submitted when moving-in
    1) Overseas arrivals
    - Immigration certificate(or real passport)

    - Chest X-ray results(for tuberculosis test),

    - Certificate of MMR(Measles, Mumps & Rubella) Vaccination
    ※ COVID-19 test will be conducted during the two weeks of your quarantine period in the dormitory.
    2) Domestic arrivals (who are already staying in Korea outside the dormitory)
    - Immigration certificate(or real passport)

    - Chest X-ray results(for tuberculosis test)

    - Certificate of MMR(Measles, Mumps & Rubella) Vaccination
    - COVID-19 test results and medical details receipt(for refund)
    ※ You need to submit COVID-19 test results which are conducted within 5 days(excluding weekends and holidays) upon the check-in date, and the cost will be refunded to the account of the person registered in Yonsei Portal.

2. Housing Application (online)
  A. Notice
    1) Be sure to check the contents of the attached ‘Compliance Pledge for Prevention Rules of COVID-19’ and submit it directly to the dorm lobby on the day of check-in.
    2) In order to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection, you can only apply for "2 persons per room".
  B. Application period : 2020. 7. 29.(Wed) 10:00 ~ 8. 2.(Sun) 23:59
  C. How to apply : On the Yonsei Portal(https://portal.yonsei.ac.kr)
    - Yonsei Portal -> Academic Information System -> Academic Management System  -> School Life -> Songdo Dormitory
    ※ For the new students, room assignments will be processed randomly, not a First-come first-served basis.
    ※ After completing the application, please check the Application Veri/Modification menu to figure out whether your application is well completed.
    ※ Using ‘Internet Explorer’ is highly recommended to submit an online application.

3. How to pay housing fees & deposit (through a virtual bank account)
  A. When : 2020. 9. 1.(Tue) 13:00 ~ 9. 6.(Sun) 23:59
  B. Where : On the Yonsei Portal(https://portal.yonsei.ac.kr)
    - Yonsei Portal -> Academic Information System -> Academic Management System  -> School Life -> Songdo Dormitory
  C. The housing fee and a virtual account will not be notified through email or mobile, so please be sure to check the Yonsei Portal for making your payment in time.
  D. Housing fee must be paid within preset period to the virtual account individually assigned otherwise your dormitory application will be cancelled.
    ※ Considering the processing time between banks, please pay the housing fee in advance before the due date in the case of remittance from abroad.
