We sincerely congratulate all of you who accomplished the final result of study in Yonsei University.

The thesis files you submit will be provided as online full-text services through the dCollection of the Yonsei University Library and RISS of the Korea Education and Research Information Service. In addition, 2 copies of the papers are kept at the Yonsei University Library for archiving / reading, and one at the National Library of Korea and the National Assembly Library.

Please cooperate in the submission process (online & books) so that your valuable research results can be used for future research and academic development.


1. Online Submission

A. Period: (Fri) July 3rd 2020 ~ (Thur) July 9th16th 2020 (EXTENDED for GIT) (24 hrs available)

B. How to Submit: Dissertation online submission site (http://dcollection.yonsei.ac.kr) → Login with your Yonsei Portal ID/PW → Submit

- Please refer to the online submission manual (attached file) for submission method and copyright setting.

C. File Format: pdf only (other formats can cause page breakage, picture/chart breakage, etc.)

D. Verification Work Time: 9:00 ~ 17:00, during submission period

- For checking the cover and the certificate page, the pagination, and whether the image / chart is broken.
- After the verification, the approval process is performed manually by the administrator. Normally, it is approved within 1 business day, but it may take longer if the deadline is near and the submitter is driven.
- Please check your thesis status on the ‘dCollection – Submit history’ page.

- You can leave the Panelists' signatures blank when submitting online, but you must include the empty page.

The submission process is complete. Please wait for verification by the administrator.

Return

Unapproved

Your submission has been returned. Please check the ‘My Notice’ for the reason for the return.
Click on the title of the paper to complete the resubmission process.

Re-submit

Unapproved

Resubmission process has been completed after the return. Please wait for verification by the administrator.

Submit complete

Approved

Your submission has been approved after the verification. Please print and bind your thesis.
Please print the License Agreement and Submit Confirmation of submission and submit it together with the submission.

E. Things to be prepared before Book Submission

When your online submission completed, please print the following two forms.

(1) 1 copy of License Agreement Form with your signature (저작권이용동의서)
(2) 1 copy of Submission Confirmation Form with your signature/seal (제출확인서)



2. Book Thesis Submission

A. Period: (Fri) July 10th 2020 ~ (Wed) July 15th 22nd 2020 (EXTENDED for GIT) (09:00~17:00 available, Last day(July 15th) submission will be available by 20:00

B. Where to Submit: Thesis Submission Office at the Library Exhibition Hall (1st Floor of Yonsei-Samsung Library, Sinchon campus)

C. Items to Submit

 Hard-bound thesis

Required: 4 copies of Master or Doctoral Thesis with hard cover

- One of the copies must have the 'original' thesis approval sheet signed by all members of the advisory committee. (Others can have a scanned page.)

 License Agreement Form

(저작권이용동의서)

Required: 1 copy
- With the author’s signature

 Submisson Confirmation Form

(제출확인서)

Required: 1 copy
- Where to Submit: (1) thesis submission office → (2) UGST office

- Please get a confirmation stamp from the thesis submission office at the Library then bring it to UGST office.
















* Forms of license agreement and submission confirmation can be printed out on the ‘dCollection – Submit history’ page after your online submission is approved.

** When making the thesis approval signature form, please make sure whether you put the Professors' English name correctly. You can find their name at the GIT Website (https://git.yonsei.ac.kr/git/about/faculty.do).

*** Please make sure you have to get their approval signatures before making the hard-copies booklets. You need to visit all the panelists to get their signatures on the approval form. Please contact them to make an individual appointment.


3. Online Survey (Mandatory for Th.D. candidates)
A. Doctoral degree recipients have to cooperate with the online survey of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training (KRIVET) at http://www.narastat.kr/emdh. Please complete the online research survey at the link above and submit the certificate of survey completion to GIT Office (gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr). 


4. Notes

A. The writing format of the thesis should be confirmed by the author referring to the dissertation notice on the homepage of your graduate school.

C. If you want to submit your hard-bound thesis through a third person, please ask your deputy to bring your student ID card or the certificate of enrollment when he/her visits the submission office.

D. Please pay close attention to meet the due dates of online/booklet submission.
