2020 Spring Semester to Conduct Classes ONLINE As COVID-19 Outbreak Continues

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Students in Yonsei University will be allowed to take classes "ONLINE" by the end of March or longer as the epidemic is resolved.

The classes will be given discretion to come up with the specifics of remote classes, such as online course, group video call, or additional reading materials.

GIT Administrative Office fully understand your concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak in Korea. The Songdo dormitory has extended the moving-in period by March 29th, 2020. If you are reluctant to come to Korea, please feel free to adjust your itinerary.

If you want to take "a leave of absence" to return to school in September, GIT Office must be informed in advance by March 20th in order to hold your internal scholarship until you come back. If not, your GIT scholarship will be all cancelled.

As for the new students who didn't arrive in Korea yet, please contact GIT Office by March 15th, 2020 if you decide to "defer or withdrawal" your admissions. GIT Office totally respects the students' decision. You will be given the letter of deferral from our part, for further confirmation.
