Here is a brief information about English course which will be offered to GIT students as well as Korean graduate students at both the master's and doctoral levels in Spring 2020.

Course Title: The Gospel of Mark

Time and Place: 9:00-11:50 am in Sinchon Campus, every Thursday

Lecturer: Prof. Sung Uk Lim

Course Purpose:

The purpose of this course is to facilitate in-depth understanding of the narrative world of the Gospel of Mark in an interdisciplinary mode. To do so, we will have a closer reading of the selected Greek texts of Mark with focus on such themes as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and disability in order to make a sense of the diverse aspects represented by the Gospel. Students will hone in interpretive skills, engaging contemporary Markan scholarship and beyond.

Prof. Lim hopes that this will be a greatest chance for GIT students to explore biblical students together with Korean students next semester.
