GIT Graduate students who are preparing thesis(dissertation) defense for graduation in August 2019 should follow the guidelines below and submit their dissertation manuscript for the examination.

[Schedule]

A. 1^st Draft Submission: (Wednesday) April 17^th, 2019

- Dissertations submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

- Please submit your "original" copies to GIT administrative office in Songdo or UGST office in Sinchon.

- If you are outside in Korea, please send the full version of pdf to gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr first and make your flight schedule as soon as possible.

- You should duplicate your dissertation manuscripts (Masters : 3 copies, Ph.D : 5 copies).

- You should bring them to the UGST or GIT office (Sinchon or Songdo) to get an official stamp from the office.

- The stamped manuscripts must be submitted to each of your readers.

* By April 17th, you should submit the following documents as well as your draft manuscript:

  1) A copy of "Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research" (Form download)

  2) A copy of "turnitin" (a plagiarism checker) result report (To know how to use turnitin system, please click HERE.)

B. 1st Defense (Preliminary Read): One day among April 29^th~May 3rd, 2019 (The detail schedule will be assigned to each candidate)

C. 2nd Draft Submission: (Friday) June 7^th, 2019 (Please submit to SINCHON CAMPUS, UGST Office)

D. Final defense: (Monday) June 17^th, 2019 (Examination process will be conducted only for candidates who submit dissertation manuscripts. The detail schedule will be assigned to each candidate)
