연합신학대학원 학위논문 표절검사 의무 시행 안내(2024-1학기부터 적용)

Notice of Mandatory Plagiarism Checks for Graduate School Theses at the United Graduate School of Theology

(Effective from Spring 2024)

연합신학대학원은 아래 내규에 근거하여 학위논문 심사 과정 중 표절 검사를 필수적으로 시행하려고 합니다.

이에 2024-1학기부터 학위논문 표절 검사를 아래와 같이 시행하오니 학위논문 심사 절차에 참고하시기 바랍니다.

The United Graduate School of Theology will implement mandatory plagiarism checks during the thesis review process based on the following regulations.

Starting from the Spring 2024, plagiarism checks for theses will be conducted as outlined below. Please refer to this information during the thesis review process.

1. 시행 목적 

가. 학위논문의 학문적 진실성 및 연구 윤리를 준수하고 위조, 변조, 표절 등 연구 부정행위 발생 방지

나. 논문 작성 시 논문유사도 검사를 시행함으로써 독창적 연구성 장려 및 표절로 인한 학위 취소를 예방

1. Purpose of Implementation

a. To ensure the academic integrity and research ethics of theses, and to prevent research misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.

b. To encourage original research and prevent degree cancellations due to plagiarism by conducting similarity checks during thesis preparation.

3. 시행 절차: 예비/본심사 접수 시 학위논문 가제본과 함께 <붙임1> 학위논문 표절 검사 결과확인서(서류 1, 서류 2)에 접수도장 받아 심사위원께 제출(행정팀에도 별도 제출)

3. Implementation Procedure: During the preliminary and final reviews, submit the thesis draft along with the attached plagiarism check confirmation form (Form 1, Form 2) stamped to the reviewers (also submit separately to the administrative team).

※ Settings for similarity check programs

(1) Copy Killer

문서 업로드 단계에서 [검사 설정], [표절기준]을 아래와 같이 설정, 나머지는 기본 설정을 따름

검사 설정: 인용/출처 표시문장 ‘포함’, 법령/경전 포함문장 ‘제외’, 목차/참고문헌 ‘제외’

표절기준: 6어절 이상 일치, 1문장 이상 일치

Set the following options in [Inspection Settings] and [Plagiarism Criteria] during document upload, follow default settings for the rest:

- Inspection Settings: Include quoted/cited sentences, exclude sentences from laws/scriptures, exclude table of contents/references

- Plagiarism Criteria: Match 6 or more words, match 1 or more sentences

(2) Turnitin

유사도 검사 시 [필터 및 설정]을 아래와 같이 설정, 나머지는 기본 설정을 따름

인용문 ‘포함’, 참고 문헌 ‘제외’

Set the following options in [Filters and Settings] during similarity check, follow default settings for the rest:

- Include quotes, exclude bibliography

(3) iThenticate

유사도 검사 시 부가 기능을 아래와 같이 설정, 나머지는 기본 설정을 따름

참고문헌 제외, 나머지는 모두 포함(사소한 일치, 사소한 출처는 6단어를 기준으로 설정)

Set the following options in additional features during similarity check, follow default settings for the rest:

- Exclude bibliography, include everything else (set minor matches and minor sources to 6 words)
