Counseling Services

Yonsei University care for the health and well-being of all students. Various counseling services are available on-campus in which each student can receive service. Please know that you are not alone and can get help from the center.

Counseling Center provides counseling, psychological testing and preventive services for securing good mental health. Counseling is available for the following : Individual, Group, Psychological Test, Psychodrama, Mental Health Seminar, Suicide Prevention Education.

All counseling services are free of charge and all personal information is kept strictly confidential.

[How to Use the Service]

Counseling Center is currently offering counseling services in English and Chinese. (Main Campus only)

Please note that only currently enrolled degree program students are eligible for the services.

  1. Schedule Appointment
    • Students are required to reserve book initial counseling appointment via the Counseling Center website.
    • The booking system opens at 12am on the 7th day of each month. Due to a demand for the service, appointments can fill up quickly. Accessing the system early will ensure appointment availability.
  2. Visit Counseling Center at the appointed date and time.

Yonsei Human Rights Center is established to protect the human rights of all Yonsei University members, to pursue happiness of Yonsei people, and to realize their dignity and values as human beings.

All counseling services are free of charge and all personal information is kept strictly confidential.

Gender Equality Center runs a counseling service to prevent sexual harassment & violence on campus and intervenes with reported recognized violence in order to generate an atmosphere free of all forms of sexual harassment, exploitation, or intimidation.

The contents of counseling include sexual violence and other issues that deal with sexual identity or sex, such as sexual harassment, gender discrimination, stalking, dating violence, or cyber bullying.

All counseling services are free of charge and all personal information is kept strictly confidential.

    • Academic support : Priority registration, Stenographer and Sign Language Interpretation(Korean language only), Sending Letters of Accommodation etc.
