This Micro-major Program accommodates the needs of students majoring in other languages within the College of Liberal Arts for linguistics, and allows students of various majors such as psychology, child and family studies, sociology, medicine, computer science and engineering to converge their fields with linguistics. Linguistics Micro-major Program aims to provide a foundation for a general understanding of linguistics and its applied fields such as language development, language psychology, language therapy, discourse analysis in various situations, artificial intelligence development and speech recognition.
