This course aims students to acquire a clear theoretical system of insurance, one of the most effective risk management methods, to utilize it in real life and obtain help.
RC541 화폐금융론  (MONETARY ECONOMICS)
The objective of this course is to improve the understanding of the role of financial market, interest rate decision theory, the role of stock market and stock price determination, the role and functions of commercial banks, the role of central banks and monetary policy effects.
RC967 개인재무설계  (PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING)
In order to avoid financial losses due to the increasing uncertainty of modern society and to minimize the difficulties caused by risks, it is necessary to establish and operate appropriate financial plans for each economic entity. Therefore, the purpose of this course is to examine the basic direction and key components of personal financial planning, which can be called individual asset management. The fundamentals of individual financial planning are maximizing net assets while focusing on individual cash flows, and maximizing the utility by optimally consuming the accumulated assets over the lifetime and appropriately carrying out inheritance and bestowal. In order to design a proper personal finance planning, individual risk management, investment planning, retirement planning, tax planning, inheritance and bestowal planning should be all considered together.
RC573 고령화와 경제성장 (AGING AND ECONOMIC GROWTH)
The transition to unprecedented aging society will have a huge impact on our society, especially the economic sector. This is because the proportion of young population who are most actively engaged in production is gradually decreasing, while the proportion of middle-aged population who are relatively low in productivity or retired is growing at a rapid pace. Therefore, it is necessary to understand and analyze aging for continuous economic growth and development. This lecture will explore the aging problem of our society, and furthermore, discuss its impact to the whole economy including productivity, labor market and medical care expenditure.
RC564 금융보험론 (FINANCE)
Economic agents are exposed to various financial risks. In addition, changes in the insurance market require constant innovation such as new business development for the sustainable management of financial companies. This course aims students to acquire a clear theoretical system of insurance, one of the most effective risk management methods, to utilize it in real life and obtain help.
RC972 미분적분학 (CALCULUS)
Economics has a close relationship with mathematics. Although Economics is a practical study, its foundations are based on mathematics. Mathematics, especially differential calculus, is essential for those studying economics. This course covers mathematics necessary for Economics such as differential calculus, partial differential calculus, integral calculus.
RC980 보험수리와 위험관리 (RISK MANAGEMENT IN INSURANCE)
This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the mathematical model used in financial risk, introduction to actuary which are used in interest theory and life insurance, and indemnity insurance. Note that this course focuses on mathematical and statistical methodology and does not discuss industry-wide policies or regulations.

This course seeks to find the solution by understanding the current issues and problems related to the insurance industry and insurance law, and try to draw discuss related policy issues and solutions
RC686 사회보험론 (SOCIAL INSURANCE)
In this course, the general principles of the social insurance system introduced to protect the members of the society based on insurance technology and social solidarity from various risks such as illness, disability, aging, unemployment, the current status and problems of Korean system is introduced. In particular, this course examines the economic issues of the possibility that the existence and underlying justification of the social insurance system may alter the incentive system of economic agents and decrease the efficiency. We will also take a look at global trends and direction of change in the future related to the reform of the social security system due to recent aging and financial instability.
RC676 생명보험론 (LIFE INSURANCE)
This course covers basic theory of life insurance, functional characteristics and structural characteristics of life insurance, basic actuarial skills of life insurance and corporate management.
RC656 손해보험론
The course covers risk and risk management, operating principles of indemnity insurance, marketing of indemnity insurance and regulation of indemnity insurance, as well as major insurance fields such as fire insurance, marine insurance and liability insurance.
RC556 시계열분석 (TIME SERIES ANALYSIS)
This course aims to explore the mechanisms of numerous data that occur over time in Economics or Business and try to obtain useful information for decision making by making forecasts with statistical packages.
