Prof. Won Woo Ro’s research team (eSCal) has been granted the 2024 basic Science Research Program by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) for the research titled, “A Memory Hierarchy Design for Minimizing Number of GPUs in LLM Server System.”

eSCal will receive a 400 millon won annually from the NRF for three years (a total of 1.2 billion won).
