Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU)
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering provides undergraduate students with opportunities to participate in research projects. All senior students must complete the EEE4610 Electrical and Electronic Engineering Capstone Design. This course is run in two tracks: independent and cooperative tracks. Senior projects are supervised and evaluated by faculty members at public exhibition and presentation fairs every semester.
In the independent track, a student or a group of students is advised by a single faculty advisor. Students participating in the independent track can form a team of up to three students.
In the cooperative track, a student or a group of students is advised by two or more faculty members. A team can include up to five undergraduate students. Cooperative track teams are granted with some financial supports for their projects. Greater quality of team work mostly leads to prototype demonstration outputs.
Undergraduate students are strongly recommended to contact faculty members for full consultation of various research opportunities.
