- Prof. Jungmok Seo’s research team (BLISS) developed a double-network hemostatic hydrogel that can instantly adhere to wet tissues and rapidly stop bleeding. The material can be used both as an injectable sealant and as a patch-type adhesive, presenting a versatile hemostatic platform applicable to complex wounds, including irregularly shaped or large-area defects. The results were approved for publication in 2026 Nature Communications (IF=15.7). This research was led by Prof. Jungmok Seo (corresponding author), with Dr. Tae Young Kim and Kayoung Son contributing as co-first authors.

- MLSys 2026 Google Graph Scheduling Competition Track B 1st Place (Advisor: Prof. Hanjun Kim)
- Professor Hanjun Kim's research group placed 1st out of 32 teams in Track B (Agent Reasoning) of the Google Graph Scheduling Contest, an official challenge at MLSys 2026. The award was led by Hoyun Youm and Chan Lee, both integrated course students. Building on analysis of their own reference solver, the team proposed a hybrid architecture in which structural opportunities in the computation graph are pre-detected and incorporated into Gemini's prompt, while a deterministic engine performs fine-grained search.

- Prof. Kim's research team has published a paper about “Thermally Tunable Photonic Synaptic Transistor with Bioinspired Temporal Dynamics for Task-Adaptive Neuromorphic Vision” in the ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (IF: 8.2, JCR Top 17.9%) (2026.06.02. Accepted) This work was led by co-first authors Shilin Lu and Hongjoon Kim under the supervision of Prof. Hyun Jae Kim, and demonstrated an optosynaptic transistor capable of continuously modulating synaptic temporal responses through temperature control. - Professor Jung-Wook Park has been selected for the 2026 Brain Pool Fellowship Program (Project title: AI-Based Stability Assessment for Next-Generation Power Systems). Professor Jung-Wook Park will invite Professor Kwang Y. Lee, a world-renowned scholar and leading expert in fields of power systems, control, and AI to collaborate on a research project for approximately three years, from July 2026 to December 2028. Professor Kwang Y. Lee was selected as a US-Yonsei Fulbright Distinguished Scholar and an Eminent Scholar of the Yonsei Frontier Lab. (YFL) and served as a chair professor/Specially appointed professor at Yonsei University in 2024.

- Ph.D. Student Jaemin Moon and Prof. Kyeon Hur Develop Grid Stability Technology for High-IBR Power Systems
- Ph.D. student Jaemin Moon and Prof. Kyeon Hur have developed a novel voltage-sensitive DER contingency screening and fast frequency reserve sizing framework for power systems with high inverter-based generation. The proposed method successfully identifies vulnerable fault locations that may cause large-scale inverter-based generation loss and determines the precise reserve required to maintain frequency stability. This breakthrough research has been accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Power Systems (IF: 7.2, Top 10.5% in Engineering, Electrical & Electronic category).
