- Professor Ki Jun Yu Research Group was awarded Mid-Career Research Program of National Research Foundation of Korea
- Professor Ki Jun Yu research group was recognized for the excellence of their research on “transparent, 3-Dimensional Flexible Active Electronics for 3-Dimensional High Resolution Neural Recording”. As a follow-up research, they proposed and awarded Mid-Career research program with a “Closed-loop System for Simultaneous Recording and Stimulation of 3-dimensional Brain signals to Identify and Alleviate Pain Neural Network”. This research was carried out with a 982 million KRW over the next five years, provided by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

- Prof. Lee's research team (Multi-Dimensional Insight Lab, MDI) will conduct international collaborations with the University of Texas Austin (USA), Monash University (Australia), Nanyang Technology University (Singapore), National Taiwan University (Taiwan), and Shanghai University (China) to cultivate researchers and professionals. MDI will receive 4 billion won grant from Korea Creative Content Agency for 4 years of project, and send 21 students abroad for more than 6 months in collaboration with overseas universities

- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s Research Team, FeFET-PUF design technique was accepted in IEEE Internet of Things Journal
- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s research about FeFET based PUF design technique was accepted for the publication in IEEE Internet of Things Journal (IF : 10.6). The proposed FeFET-based PUF in this paper significantly improves the area efficiency, and it can operate stably over a wide range of supply voltages and temperatures by adopting the auto-writeback technique. This research was led by Dr. Sehee Lim and Prof. Seong-Ook Jung in VLSI system laboratory.

- Kuwon Han(Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim)’s paper has been accepted by the IEEE JSAC
- Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim’s research team, in collaboration with the Korea Railroad Research Institute, has developed a path estimation algorithm using WiFi and a graph neural network. This study transforms user movement patterns into graphs, significantly reducing positioning errors in environments where distance estimation errors are large (2-10m) to about 1m. This result is scheduled to be published in a special issue of the IEEE Journal of Selected Area in Communications (JSAC), a leading journal in the field of communications with an IF of 16.4 This work was led by graduate student Kyuwon Han (first author).

- Prof. Kim’s research team paper, “Energy-efficient edge learning via joint data deepening-and-prefetching”, has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (IEEE TWC, IF 10.4). This paper introduces a novel algorithm that improves device energy efficiency measuring the importance of the data in feature units, reducing the data required to train an artificial intelligence model. This work was led by graduate student Sujin Kook (first author).

- Junghyun Yoon (a Ph.D. student) of Professor Youngcheol Chae’s research team developed a low-power, high-resolution Continuous-Time Zoom ADC and published a paper in the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), the world’s most prestigious journal in the field of integrated circuit design. The chip demonstrates an intrinsically linear ADC with a novel Zoom ADC architecture which is for the loT sensor application, where it achieves 15-bit ENOB and high energy efficiency without additional linearization technique.

- PhD Yeontaek Lee (Professor Jeongmok Seo’s research team) approved for publication in ACS Nano and selected as the cover
- Prof. Jungmok Seo’s research team (BLISS) introduced a technology that can monitor mechanical stiffness variations in the reconstructed Achilles tendon through a wireless, chip-less, and immune-tolerant in vivo strain-sensing suture. The results were approved for publication in ACS Nano (IF=17.1) and selected as the cover. This study was supervised by Professor Jungmok Seo (corresponding author) and led by PhD Yeontaek Lee, the first author.
