- Byung Ha Kang(Prof. Hyun Jae Kim’s Lab) Nano Energy Journal Accept
- Byung Ha Kang (Memory Division, Samsung Electronics), a Ph.D. graduate from Hyun Jae Kim’s lab, developed an organic/inorganic hybrid oxide phototransistor-based PPG (photoplethysmogram) sensor. The paper was accepted at Nano Energy Journal (16th in Materials Science Area, IF 17.881, JCR 4.79%). This research team demonstrated the difference in photocurrent generated by changing the solvent in the organic material used in the organic/inorganic hybrid oxide phototransistor and suggested the use of the PPG sensor into a healthcare platform being used at low and high heart rates.(Paper title: Skin-conformable photoplethysmogram sensors for energy-efficient always-on cardiovascular monitoring systems)

- A paper by a Prof. Chae's Team Is Accepted for ISSCC 2022 Subject to “Miniaturized Wireless Neural Implant”
- Mr. Changuk Lee, who works as a PhD student in Prof. Youngcheol Chae's team, has developed a miniaturized wireless neural implant, together with the team of Prof. Jong-Hyun Ahn, and has been approved by the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) in 2022. The silicon chip makes it possible to achieve wide bandwidth and high energy transfer efficiency even without precise alignment between implants and external devices. The results clearly demonstrate new technology in the wireless neural implants and showed superior performance over conventional technologies.
