The research team of Professor Sang-Hoon Lee of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University (Multi-dimensional Insight Lab) developed a technology to extract and classify features of images based on a convolutional neural network (CNN). The necessity of the technology was recognized as a means to detect copyright infringement in digital publications. A technology transfer contract was signed with MWSTORY, and know-how was transferred to MWSTORY.
