Prof. Ahn Jong-hyun is awarded the Technology and Engineering Award for ‘Development of 2-Dimensional Nanomaterials and Implementation of Technology for Flexible Wearable Electronic Devices’. He is a global leader in the research of transparent flexible wearable devices such as  electrical∙electronics, healthcare, and biotechnology using graphene, MoS2, ultra-thin silicon films.
The Samil Prize, hosted by the Samil Foundation, is Korea's first private academic and cultural award, which began in 1960, and marks its 62nd anniversary this year.
