Awarded by the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society, Prof. Sohn’s research group has received the Chester Sall Paper Award for their paper: "Non-Parametric Human Segmentation Using Support Vector Machine". This award is to recognize the best papers recently published in the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics. Every year, the awards are given at the IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE) which is jointly held with Consumer Electronics Shows (CES), Las Vegas, US.
