Professor Hyunyong Choi research team and Moon-Ho Jo group (Department of Materials Science and Engineering, POSTECH) have demonstrated the programmable writing of monolithic integrated circuits on a two-dimensional van der Waals semiconductor. They have firstly showed the systematic control of local carrier concentration in MoTe2 governed by precisely tuned laser illumination.

This study has received approval sign, and will be published from Nature Electronics in recognition of their influence and potential impacts on semiconductor research.
