Yonsei University’s Global Leadership Division is a new department established in 2015, which is offering the world's first Korean Language-based premium undergraduate curriculum for international and overseas Korean students. Yonsei’s Global Leadership Division has constructed various support systems for the students who may not be fully familiar with Korean culture, to be able to adapt quickly to new policies and a new educational environment of Korea.

Currently 600 students from 24 countries all around the world are already participating in our curriculum of ‘Korean Culture’, ‘Korean Language and Culture Education’, ‘International Commerce’ major. Aside from this, students are provided with the opportunity to take on a ‘Self-designed major’ which is similar to a minor, or instead a double major. Within Yonsei’s Global Leadership Division, students are not only able to grow academically, but achieve personal growth and development as well, through the education and guidance system that includes students’ GLD Faculties, Academic Advisors, and Residential Masters that give the utmost support to each student.

We are expecting best students who meet the highest status of Yonsei University. We support not only academic pursuit of each student but we also educate them to grow as the best intellectuals who represent alumni of Yonsei Univesity.
