Dr. Byungchoul Park (Prof. Chae’s research team) is employed as an Assistant Professor at Myongji Univ.

Dr. Byungchoul Park is employed as an assistant professor at Myongji University. Dr. Byungchoul Park gets his doctorate at Yonsei mixed signal IC lab (Prof. Chae’s research team), Yonsei university, at 2022, and his research interests includes APD and SPAD based 3-D image sensor, photon counting image sensor, and wafer-level X-ray detector. He worked as BK21 post-doctoral researcher, BK21 research professor, and employed as an assistant professor of Dept. of Electronics Engineering at Myongji University.

Prof. Sanghoon Lee has been appointed as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief (DyEiC) for IEEE TMM in 2024

Prof. Sanghoon Lee will join the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM) starting from February 2024, serving as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief (DyEiC). IEEE TMM is one of the most prestigious journals in the field of multimedia technology and multimedia application research, with an impact factor of 7.3 as of 2022.

Dongho Yoo, Jun Hwang (PI. Byung-Wook Min) won Ministerial Award of Ministry of Science and ICT

Prof. Min’s research team (MICS) proposed a new design for quasi-circulator that utilizes a phase alternately distributed amplifier to achieve compact size, ultra-wideband and low noise characteristic. In recognition of its excellence, this paper won the ministerial award in 2023 student paper contest in the field of radio waves. This work was supervised under Prof. Byung-wook Min(Corresponding author) and led by graduate student Dongho Yoo, Jun Hwang (co-first authors).

Prof. Seo Selected as IEEE Life Fellow Member

Prof. Jong-Soo Seo was selected as the IEEE Life Fellow member as of Jan. 1, 2024. Prof. Seo is a world-class scholar of broadcasting transmission technology and has been selected as an IEEE Fellow since 2014. Even now, he continues to contribute to the activities of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, including IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, and continues to lead international research cooperation and development for new technologies such as ATSC 3.0 and 5G Broadcast
