Pre-University Operation (on/offline, February and August)

Outline

This is a pre-management program for those who have confirmed admission. The program would run separately or with an expanded orientation. Running the program as a part of the pre-university program with online lectures (Korean and study methods) and study skills workshop content is worth considering

Providing Online Study Method Lecture

Outline

Provide online lectures to cultivate study skills as a university student and provide basic information about each course (electives and major) and each fine majors basic study methods and study strategies.

Characteristics
  • a. Lecture Matching Through Professor Request Survey: Produce useful lectures about study methods through the surveys taken before hand about the professors, students will analyze what they need in order to successfully take courses and each fine major
  • b. Function orientation about Korean education (study) culture: Help by educating outside of just study methods. Aim for a quick and effective way of teaching differences, compared to other countries, in Korean university relationship (when studying) culture and etiquette, understanding and respecting the relativity of culture.

Providing Online Study Method Guide

Outline

Reorganize the GLD homepage to help students overcome the most difficult aspects of study methods. Provide study method text materials in PDF format, so students can get help in various ways.

Characteristics
  • a. Contributing to the strengthening of self-study capabilities: Plagiarism prevention relevant to study skills, exam preparation and exam response writing method, organizing notes, time management, understanding group projects and strategies, etc.
  • b. Function of Korean education (study) culture: Function orientation about Korean education (study) culture: Help by educating outside of just study methods. Aim for a quick and effective way of teaching differences, compared to other countries, in Korean university relationship (when studying) culture and etiquette, understanding and respecting the relativity of culture.
